okay, all of this is just becoming way too exciting for me. my first family shoot:

steve, dena, and audrey nilsen. dena and i worked together at an office in charlotte about a year and a half ago. she was pregnant with audrey at the time, and was training me to take over for her. which made it even MORE special taking pictures of her beautiful family.

i'm still learning, and i was nervous for days before but it was a perfect (almost) rainy day and the butterflies subsided almost immediately (thank you lord!) oh, i would also like to add that i am having some picture problems. so please bear with me while i try to fix this...

He is by far my favorite senior of 2010. yes. and i may be biased, but everyone expects that anyways. he was the test subject for my new 1.4ff lens (which is heaaaven, btw).

He did okay, i guess ;)
And we got some senior pictures out of it, too
