Okay, i have been totally dying to put these pictures up, but thought that since they were going to be using them for their christmas cards, i didn't want to spoil the surprise. But those should be all out by now, and here they are. The Blackburns. Daniel played assistant to me as I took these pictures and they seriously wouldn't have been the same without him. Eileen, Chris and their kids are completely awesome. I love how they were interacting with their kids. SO much fun. And the oldest two - twin beautifuls. Maaaybe Daniel and I will have twins someday? I would love it even more after being with Avery and CJ :) The lighting got reaaaally bad towards the end, but we managed just fine i think.

the nilsens.

okay, all of this is just becoming way too exciting for me. my first family shoot:

steve, dena, and audrey nilsen. dena and i worked together at an office in charlotte about a year and a half ago. she was pregnant with audrey at the time, and was training me to take over for her. which made it even MORE special taking pictures of her beautiful family.

i'm still learning, and i was nervous for days before but it was a perfect (almost) rainy day and the butterflies subsided almost immediately (thank you lord!) oh, i would also like to add that i am having some picture problems. so please bear with me while i try to fix this...

He is by far my favorite senior of 2010. yes. and i may be biased, but everyone expects that anyways. he was the test subject for my new 1.4ff lens (which is heaaaven, btw).
